Hi everyone! I have a six year old daughter who's just started 1st grade! Im very excited for her, and also very nervous about how she'll do. I want to make sure the teacher understands her condition, and maybe find some things that may help with her in class. Anybody have any suggestions?

Okay, so an update on my daughter and school. My daughter’s having some problems in class... I asked her teacher to keep me posted about her behavior in class. Her teacher told me yesterday that she's not really participating in the class much. While this doesn't exactly surprise me because I've heard about it in other DS kids, does anyone have any ideas about what I myself can do to encourage a more active role in the classroom? Thanks.
