my son has cystic fibrosis.after suffering many viral infections over the past few months the doctor now suspects its bronchiolitis.The cf nurse asked me to take him to my gp for an emergency check up and to see if he could be given something for his wheezing.The gp confirmed it most likely is bronchiolitis and that he shouldnt get any worse but would not prescribe him anything.hes just coming up to 6 months hes coughing a lot not always whezing but when he does he gets very disstressed he is only taking about 500ml of formula aday this has gone on for4 days at what point if he does not improve would i need to return ro the doctor.and does anyone know if its normal practice to just leave a child with cf to fight this alone .
